Pre Production

In the pre-production phase of the TVC commercial project for Sanima Bank's debit card targeting the youth, detailed planning and innovative ideas were paramount. A standout feature was our creation of a custom helmet rig to capture a cinematic point-of-view (POV) shot during the zipline scene. This rig, equipped with a mounted camera, allowed us to focus on the main cast's facial expressions, enhancing the authenticity and emotional impact of the scene. Alongside this, extensive discussions with the brand shaped our creative direction, messaging, and understanding of the target audience. Pre-production meetings (PPMs) ensured alignment among the team, while location scouting led us to select diverse spots like a library, zipline place near Bhaktapur, an ice cream parlour, and a restaurant, each adding unique authenticity to the commercial.

Production

The production or shoot day was an intense but rewarding experience. With a tight schedule to cover four different locations in just one day, meticulous planning and efficient execution were essential. The production call time was set for 6:30 am, and our first location was the zipline place near Bhaktapur. Our core filming team started capturing the required shots at the zipline location, while simultaneously, a part of our crew began setting up the next location, which was the library scene. This parallel planning and execution continued as we moved from one location to another, including the ice cream parlour and restaurant. Despite the challenges of coordinating between multiple locations and ensuring everything was captured as per the script and vision, our team's dedication and coordination ensured that we wrapped up the shoot by around 12:30 am the next day.

Post Production

Post-production followed the intense production day, but it was comparatively smoother. Having all the necessary resources such as scripts, mood boards, and footage from the shoot made the editing and post-production process more streamlined. One of the significant elements we focused on during post-production was creating a custom sound design tailored to the brand's requirements, enhancing the visual storytelling and emotional connect of the advertisement. Overall, the project was a blend of fun, excitement, challenges, and success, reflecting the vibrant spirit and energy of the youth while effectively showcasing Sanima Bank's debit card.
