"Lennox 725: Fusion of Realities"
In the Pre-Production phase of the Caliber Shoes commercial video project for the new Lennox 725 launch, extensive research was conducted to integrate real-time video and 3D rendering for a unique result. Collaborating with Peak Studios, a 3D company, was a key aspect. Location scouting involved careful consideration of natural lighting for both video and 3D scans. Client meetings were held to understand their desires and needs, especially since it was a new shoe launch. The aim was to represent the shoe's versatility, leading to the decision to feature three characters: a runner, a basketball player, and a breakdancer.
The Production/Execution phase had a tight one-day timeline, during which shooting took place at two different locations. The crew, comprising around 10 to 15 individuals, included a Director, Assistant Director, Director of Photography (DoP), Art Director, Production Manager, DIT, Production Assistant, Makeup Artist, Stylist and Light Department. The first half of the day was dedicated to capturing the runner scene in Kirtipur, while the second half, extending until 11 pm, focused on the basketball and breakdance scenes at a basketball court in Boudha. The production process ran smoothly, and the team successfully executed the vision for showcasing the shoe's versatility through dynamic characters.
Lastly In the Post-Production phase, collaboration with Peak Studios was instrumental in bringing the envisioned project to life. Coordination involved a back-and-forth exchange, with the video footage sent to Peak Studios for the integration of 3D renderings. The post-production stage aimed to seamlessly merge the real-world footage with the digitally rendered elements to create a visually striking and cohesive final product. This collaborative effort ensured that the unique aspects of the Lennox 725 shoes were effectively highlighted and presented in a way that aligned with the client's expectations and the overall marketing strategy for the new product.
